I had a larve A. mcmasteri male spawn with two much smaller females at the
same time. They were set up as a trio in a planted 10 gallon tank with a
small flower pot at each end. Each female spawned inside one of the flower
pots. At that point, I removed the male. When the females got a little too
rough with each other, I put in a tank divider. This worked fine until on
female managed to get around the divider, and both females eventually died
of the ensuing carnage. But I still have the male in a community 55 gallon
tank and lots of the the juveniles from the two spawns. Anyway, this is
one species where the male will spawn with more than one female at a time.
