TIA I am sure you won't have any trouble keeping apistos and plecos in a tank together, but I doubt very seriously you will ever see any eggs hatch. You might try keeping a light on at night since the plecos are nocturnal. But my experience is that when you do this, the cichlids go to sleep even in full light and quit guarding the eggs.
