I always use "Ick Guard", by Jungle.  Catfish seem to be sensitive to most ick
treatments.  If you can separate them out to another tank, you might consider
using the old "Heat Treatment on the cats.  Someone old enough to remember
comfirm the temperature setting, please.  I think it is like 90F for three
days?

I've also heard that one TBSP of table salt (non-iodized) per 5 gallons of
water will kill ick in about a week.  I've never tried that approach.
