Re: Pelvicachromis sacrimontis



This seems off-topic too ... but LFSs report lots of West African fish
available and have P. sacrimontis (as "Jumbo kribs") and wild "Yellow kribs".

I missed out on the male "yellows" but the intriguing females are bright
yellow from chin to just past eye (looks like a painted-on stripe), with a
yellow patch behind the gills and lots of yellow on the tail and interior part
of caudal fin, in addition to the light yellow stripe. There is also bright
orange trim on the dorsal fin and they have glowing(!) orange eyebrows.

Hmm.
