Fontinalis is a genus of "willow moss" which is an aquatic plant (or true
moss?) native to the east coast. There is a picture of it in the old Innes
book,
"Exotic Aquarium FIsh". In general appeaerance it is somewhat like Java Moss,
but apparantly attaches itself to the substrate better than Java Moss does. I
don't know if it has true roots. Hope this helps.
