These types of sites are just kind of a pain for users as they get widely variable response times and always some sites down, and administrators as they have to deal with URLs changing or vanishing. It's just so much nicer to have everything in one place. I have been collecting pics for my own use. I could put them up on my web site and deal with copyright issues as they come up, and better yet add contributions. No banners and not for profit obviously. What do you think? >I think it would be great if someone with web space and an understanding of >how all that techno-egghead stuff is done were to build a web index of all the >dwarf cichlid photos on all the sites that he/she/we can find, with hyper- >links right to the page. In other words, Find a picture of say, A. regani, >list A. regani in the index in the appropriate place, and convert the name A. >regani into a hyperlink right to the picture. That would be soooo cool. - -Doug
