Re: My first Apisto Spawn



Hi Leo,

the eggs/fry will need 6 to 9 days until swimming free - that depends on
temperature the higher the temperature the faster they develop. After swimming
free the fry  needs food. Best food is life food as baby brine shrimps or micro
worms.

A little bit to early to congratulate a new baked 'apisto-daddy' - the eggs or
fry might be eaten by the female especially when the female is young and not
experienced in hatching. In some cases it needs 3 or more atempts until it works.

Tip: Do not to much changes in water quality or anything that might disturb or
stress the female.
