Shell-less, or "de-encapsulated "eggs come in 2 grades.  One is very expensive
and intended for hatching.  The other grade is made from eggs that failed the
standard quality tests and is intended to be used "as is".

Kaycy and Darren can sell you 500mg of the "as is" variety for about $25,
unless wholesale prices have gone up lately.  That is 5 times more food than I
can get of the shelled variety for the same money.  Apisto fry seem to ignore
it for the first three or four days, but after that, they take it quite well.
So, you could always hatch during the first few days then switch to "lazy
eggs" after that.
