Has anyone had any experience with an apisto developing "reverse =
lockjaw", or more precisely a condition where the fish does not seem =
able to close its mouth?
I have an adult male pandurini that has developed this symptom, and I am =
very concerned about its well being.
Tank parameters:
Size: 10gal
pH: 6.07=20
No measurable ammonia, nitrite, or nitrate
GH: 1-2
Co-inhabitants: 10-15 fry ranging in size from .15-.5 inches=20
Further info.: The fish has been shy and remained hidden in cave work =
for the past three weeks. Only recently has it decided to show itself. =
Fins are not clamped, but its stomach is somewhat pinched.
Any info or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
