He's fine and hungry a > month later. Do others routinely use salt in their tanks? George, I don't, but I used to. It generally worked. Then I stopped. I don't know why. At the risk of sounding like a techno-loser, it does good to be kicked back to the Innis book sometimes. It's very easy to forget old remedies as you try new ones. I'm glad you tried it on the Dehane - that would have scared me. With rare and expensive fish, it's always better to learn from the experiences of others.... Thanks, Gary
