Re: First spawn (A. cruzi)



Just a followup on the cruzi thread.  Our pair, bought at Village Tropical
in Houston just like Lilia did, has now spawned at least three times.
Each time, they have gotten just about to the stage where they are
wigglers (vibrating eggs with tails sticking out) when they've
mysteriously dissapeared.  After it happened the first time, we got rid of
the dithers in the tank.  After the second time, we put up black barriers
so the female wouldn't worry about chasing the fish in the other tank.
Didn't help either.  This time I think we're pulling the male out as soon
as the eggs are visible.

>From Lilia's mail, I think we might want to try a bigger tank too.  I also
wonder if this is our only tank without an inverted cave... hmm...
