Subject: Feeding Fry >The fry have been free swimming for a day now- how soon should I start feeding >nauplii? Start feeding fry as soon as free swimming. This can be achieved by using a small syringe and aiming in the direction of the fry. >Somewhere I heard about leaving a night light on so she does'nt lose her fry- >anyone know anything about this? Seems kind of odd- I'm sure it's pretty dark >at night in the biotope!> Yes, this is very wise if they are housed in a community tank. Your aim now is to do everything you can to enable the mother to detect any preditors who will snatch the fry in the darkness. You only require a low wattage bulb. I always did this when breeding Discus. Hope this helps.
