Here's a bad scan of a bad photo of my alleged A. sp. "Smaraged", with the other male for comparison: http://www2.rpa.net/~debrown/white.JPG These came from Anchor Bay, and may have been wild caught (the ad said wild, the guy on the phone said F1). The other male in the lower right corner looks like A. sp. "Smaraged" from the books to me. The "white" fish is significantly larger and will now rarely display a very weak lateral line and very weak caudal spot. He is more colorless than this photo shows, and does not have a green sheen like the photo might suggest. Any ideas? I'll work on a better photo or at least better scans of this and other shots. -Doug Brown debrown@kodak.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the apistogramma mailing list, apisto@majordomo.pobox.com.
