Susan, I read an article on a variation from the normal beef heart mix I had been using which included a few colves of garlic. The author (I can't remember who) raised Discus, and the garlic seemed to be a cure for several intestinal parisites. I am not sure that it works for nematodes though. I have fed this mix to my Apistos with no troubles as far as them eating it, I don't know if they like or dislike the garlic. I'm sure someone out there has some better suggestions than I.
