near catastrophe...

Yesterday my wife sprayed some bug killer in the room where all my tanks
are, and some of the bugs that were dead or dying fell into the tanks.
When I got home I noticed one A. Borelli not doing so well with strange
coloration, and some dead bugs in the tank.

I immediately cleaned the critters out of the tank, did a 50% water
change, and put carbon in a power filter on the back of the tank.

The rest of the fish appear to be okay, but the Borelli didn't make it.
I think he ate one of the contaminated bugs. Is there anything else I
can do to help detoxify the tanks other than water changes?

Thanks for the help!

Phil
