what do you all think about breeding apistos in a 10-gallon tank? i ask that because i had originally bred my wild-caught Rotpunkt in a 10-gallon. from that progeny i saved 2 adult pairs which also bred in 2 separate tanks. however, those spawnings were pretty much unsuccessful, the fry kept disappearing. now those 2 pairs are deceased and i'm left with only 1 adult female and 1 juvenile which may or may not be a male (these are my 3rd generation fish). i'm trying to figure out if it's best to breed all my other apistos (i'm growing out fry of agassizi, caucatuoides and pertensis currently, and may get caetei and cruzi from jason) in 10-gallons or move them to the 55, where they will have to compete with the Nannacara anomala. thanks for any input. tsuh yang chen, nyc ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the apistogramma mailing list, apisto@majordomo.pobox.com.
