I just got my latest issue of the Buntbarsche Bulletin (#188) with my article on A. sp. Red-tail Rio Xingu in it. They made only one glaring mistake - they didn't list Marco Lacerda as co-author! I sent the following message to David Herlong (in part): Subject: re: Apisto sp. red-tail Rio Xingu article Date: Mon, 04 Jan 1999 13:49:13 -0700 From: Mike & Diane Wise <apistowise@bewellnet.com> To: David Herlong <gherlong@********.com> David, I just received the latest BB (#188) with my article in it. It looks great except that you didn't list Marco Túlio C. Lacerda, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as my co-author. He was a major help with the natural habitat part of the article and, I feel, deserves credit. Is there some way you can let members know this, say in your Caudal Fin section? I would greatly appreciate it. You know, we all like a "warm fuzzy" every once in a while. best wishes, Mike Wise This is my personal thanks to Marco for all his help.
