I have a group of about 5 wild caught Agasizzi that are doing the exact same thing. In this case, I woke up this morning to find the small female he was laying down in front of fanning a clutch of eggs on the back glass of the tank! The smaller female is the one with the eggs, and my concern at this point is that the place she picked out is right in the middle of the claimed territory of a pair of A. Cruzi! The Cruzi female has some free swimming fry about a week old, and she is quite agressive about their well being. Tonight I am going to attempt to move the Cruzi to a 20 in the next room. I left the night light on and the rest off in hopes of them not beating each other up 'till I get there! By the way, the "floundering" observed was amoung the leaf litter on the bottom on the opposite side of the tank from where the eggs were laid. Any other suggestions appreciated!
