A. afanini?
I found some apistos labled A. afanini in a fish store yesterday. If not for
the labelling I would have thought they were A. agassizii (basic body shape
and colouring) but there are differences (e.g. caudal fin is more rounded
than on the agassizii). I did not have time to take notes but I worked out a
trade and will bring them home this Saturday after which I can give a more
detailed description.
Does the name afanini make sense to anyone?
Could it simply be a misspelling (A. sp. aff. something?)
