As for plants, I was told that they are more complicated than fish and require a
more meticulous inspection:  Plants can harbor unseen pests and may require a
quarantine.  Also, some plants from the tropics are narcotic, so the species you
list is more apt to be challenged.  That's what Customs told me, so I just import
fish.
