After soaking for almost 24 hours, the water in the bucket has gone from pH
7.6 to 6.6, KH is down to 3, GH is 7 down from 10.  I intend to leave it
alone for 4 days.

Once I very carefully decant the water from the sediment, will the water
parameters remain stable after introduction into the aquarium?  I'm mostly
concerned about the pH.
