Graham, Microworms are much smaller that bs and when feeding fry initially this is a good first food. I have found that fry can easily eat bs on their second day free swimming. As a rule once they are able to eat bs there is no need to feed the microworms as you already have found out. I think most on this list will agree with me that bs is the best food for fry, regardless of the species. Helen From: hammer@idirect.ca <hammer@idirect.ca> I am looking for feedback on experience with microworms and feeding Apistogramma cacatuoides fry. It seems that their interest in it is neutral with them sampling it and then spitting it back out. If I feed them bbs it is eaten rapidly with more interest. Is microworms a relatively poor choice as first foods and is bbs better? Is something else affecting the feeding of the fry (water parameters etc.)?
