This is the fish pictured in Mayland and Bork as A. pulchra.

A. sp. "Albertini/Rio Algodon" is a new fish from the north (a little bit
east) part of Peru. It looks closely related to A. cruzi and A. eunotus
(evident split of Bar 6). The caudal fin is banded/spotted. Dorsal, anal,
and caudal fins have red and yellow hues on it. The head and gill plates
have red striations similar to those seen in A. resticulosa "Red Mak" and
some A. borelli "Opal". There is another new species from the same river
being exported as A. sp. "Rio Algodon" but so far the collector has only
sent males to Iquitos.
