Helen, Thanks for the info. I've kept the Malawi's for about 13 years now, and I've just gotten tired of picking dead females (and smaller males) out of my tank and trying to find replacements. Malawi's really do have a bit more of a personality than most tropical fish though, and with them being mouthbrooders, it was so easy to raise fry to take to my LFS for credit. I guess, anymore, I consider them to be more of a cash crop than a hobby. Boooorrrring :( Thanks for the link. I've finally learned over the years, that an aquarium full of fish doesn't seem so much fun when the fish are dying left and right. I've found that doing the research _first_ makes for a more enjoyable first few months of raising a new type of fish. :) Thanks, Sherry -----Original Message----- From: Helen Burns <helen.burns@bigwig.net> To: apisto@admin.listbox.com <apisto@admin.listbox.com> Date: Wednesday, June 30, 1999 4:26 PM Subject: Re: Use of additives with RO water, Apisto aggressiveness :Sherry, :Apisto's are timid little things if you wish to compare them to Malawis.
