I'm also raising a batch of newly free swimming fry.   If you can't
raise bbs try using microworms.   I use these as a first food alongside
my bbs.   They sink to the bottom and live several days before dying.
That would give your fry some live foods to pick out while you aren't
there.   Hope this helps you out.
