I think that one might (prepare for romulin attack) fall into diminished
parental instinct/genes in the male or "defending" female. Mind you, guess
how I used to "poach" trout and salmon... (v. illegal expect to be pegged
out naked in a midgies infested peat bog if caught) - (for our American
cousins midgies are the most probible cause of Scottish emigration to the
Americas, and only a true masochist would encourage cultivation of this
beast as a no doubt nutritious live food it is).
