Rams

I have a pair of German Blue Rams and they have just spawned!  I have
noticed that after Spawning, the female no longer takes care of the eggs
but the male is doing the work.  As I have read in numerous books about
Cichlids, both of the pairs do the work,  I am afraid that once the eggs
starts to hatch they will just eat the frys or not take care of it.

I would like to know what are the things to be done when the eggs hatch if
the female does not want to take care of the eggs?  What is the best first
food for the frys, Tetra Microfood? Daphnia?  Artemia?  Should I remove the
eggs from the parents?  What should I first look for to do this?
