Vern, I'm afraid that this book has been out of print of many years. Eric Olson & I bought the last two available copies of this book a couple of years ago. We found them in Australia! Ingo wrote that he had found a copy in a little German pet store earlier this year, too. It was given to one of our Apisto List members. I have him on the look out for more, but I doubt that many new copies will be found. Used copies are another possibility. The ACA sold this book in the late 80's in the U.S. I imagine there are a few floating around that are for sale, but finding one will be difficult. In my opinion it is still the best book on how to ID apistos yet published. Fortunately Koslowski is updating the book The apisto section will be incorporated into volume 2 of Stawikowski & Werner's book Die Buntbarsche Amerikas (Ulmer Verlag), due to be published early in 2001. They probably won't have an English translation, but I hope to have one for the dwarf cichlid parts.
