I have read (and seem to have experienced) that A. Cacatuoides raised in high pH, high temp water tend to have a high percentage of males. What I am wondering is if anyone knows at what point in time is the sex of the fish "fixed". One week, two weeks etc. I would hate to switch them to my tap water too early.
