I would be great if Scott could pick up the stuff. I don't have anything stashed. I gave the 2 year old hamburger buns that I had in the freezer to the dog last night. She took them out side and buried them, I suspect that the 1 year old buns would receive the same reception. Also, In the past he picnic was a "family" event i.e. n beer or wine. In past years I (not GSAS) bought the beer, so if the club buys it will about double the picnic budget. If anyone has a problem with the club buying beer and wine, let me know I'd pay for it again, but it would be easier if Scot could pick it up at the same time. Steve PS Thanks for volunteering to help. -----Original Message----- From: Hathor Candelaria [SMTP:fishgirl@oz.net] Sent: Friday, July 30, 1999 12:11 PM To: 'gsas-board@thekrib.com' Subject: RE: aquarium gravel I think that if you are volunteering, you should go ahead and run with it as long as no one else has a 'stash' of plates, or other things. We belong to COSTCO, so could do this if noone else was able to/wanted to. "One thing only I know, and that is that I know nothing." I have been going to Manufacturer's Minerals but they are not as convenient for me as before and I was hoping for a little more variety. Also..... I believe (need to confirm with Victoria) that we would be happy to get to the Avenel's place the morning of August 14th to help with some yard work and setup for the picnic. (We will be out of town the weekend of August 7-8). Thanks and See you all at the picnic.... Scott C.
