board mtg
Hi everyone, If anyone feels that we rushed last night then they can make a
motion to revisit the issue at the next board meeting. I sure don't want us
to get bogged down in Robert's rules, it will surely be our demise! Maybe
we should think about a policy that requires us to have discussion and then
vote at the next board meeting on items for thing like philanthropy. It's
cool that we have this list for discussion.
I hope that everyone agrees with me in expressing great appreciation to
Kathy and Erik for the energy,time,expense of hosting the speakers.
If we were to donate 10% of the 2 auctions proceeds to the SEAS, then that
would be about $200 this year (i think).
I thought that I was a good board meeting, huge attendance, and cool to see
a fishroom that was new to me.
