OK, I've spaced out on this, but isnt he coming for the June meeting? I
mentioned this to Julie Zeppieri down in Portland and she says they'd really
like to know about this sort of thing more in advance, if possible, so they
can maybe "share" him (or similar-calibur speakers) by scheduling him in
Portland on the Sat before, for example. This way, both clubs could share
airfare & other expenses.

She wanted to know if it was too late to discuss this now? Especially since
it was mentioned at our board meeting that Wayne wants to go down to
Portland anyway, to visit & see the new store. She said she didnt know if it
was too late for Roland to schedule a Sat meeting & notify members, but it
might still work out. Do we want to explore this further? I'd be happy to be
involved, but if we think its a possibility, maybe Kathy should just contact
Roland directly. If not, I can contact him.

Even if it doesnt work out this time, maybe we could try to coordinate or at
least communicate with Portland in advance a little more about scheduling
speakers & see where we can share the expenses in the future.
