Hi Laurie,

Call me burned-out on joint activities.  I have sent mail on several
occasions to the bigwigs down there, including Shawn and James Van Doren,
mentioning our schedule.  We've been trying to coordinate a club snail
party with Joe Middleton as well. Heck, we've mentioned Wayne's visit in
like EVERY newsletter since like, October? (OK, that's only 3, but still..
:) It's been on our website's calendar ever since he confirmed in October
as well.  So no lack of trying, eh!

I'm sure Kathy will pipe up about joint activity planning... (not today,
though, she's on call).  It's a pain in da butt.  Informal stuff I'll bet
would work.  Remember how Wayne ended up giving his history talk for the
partygoers in our living room after the "regular" talk last year?
