RE: Wayne L's talk



I see Erik's point here and I agree with Laurie that it would be nice to split 
costs and have a good relationship with the people in Portland......  So, if we 
want to do this we should get representatives from both clubs to talk about a 
speaker schedule before the "meeting season" begins and then they can make 
arrangements for some big speakers that we can share and we can do the same for 
them.  
        The point is to avoid Kathy doing all the legwork to bring in some 
great speakers and then they just glom on to bring the speaker down there.
        So, needless to say, we should discuss this with Kathy and see how she 
feels about it.
        I think it would be nice for both clubs to share speakers now and then 
and these kinds of relationships could serve to strengthen the "aquarium club 
scene" in the Northwest overall.
        Meanwhile, Erik mentioned an informal sharing of Wayne Leibel's time 
may be the best we can do at this point this year........???
