I composed this reply yesterday, but forgot to hit send... Looks like Kathy beat me to the punch. But FWIW, here's what I was going to say: On Fri, 19 May 2000, Heather Candelaria wrote: > I'm afraid that any GSAS stuff that was once in my possesion is now gone. > > Those of you who know me, know that I had the end of a 9 year relationship > which occured in October and the splitting up of the matertial possessions > pretty much favored to other side... if they were any GSAS papers that I had > in my possesion, they have been erroneously 'disposed' of by that other half. Make no mistake, the club is still very much running crippled, with only skeletal leadership right now. We've basically had enough energy to run the meetings and auctions, and that's about it. The *last* thing I think any of us want to do right now is come up with new bylaws, re-incorporate, etc. It's a lot of work, and fairly painful, and might be a straw that breaks the board's back right now. Steve at least will remember correctly from the time we just wanted to file for a new tax ID number. The AGA is going through the process right now, and it's taking forever just to decide whether or not the general membership can vote for the steering committee members. I will be checking with Rich and Diane to see if there's ANY chance they have the original bylaws. - Erik -- Erik Olson erik at thekrib dot com
