How about a current list of local stores that give GSAS members discounts?  
Erik says the list at gsas.org is woefully out of date. 

My understanding is that a lot of the LFSs are a little "touchy" on this 
subject.  I think they might loosen up if we PROMISE to put their name in 
print!  I can think of a couple of options: 

1.  A list in each issue, "Stop by these stores for a discount!"  Probably 
name only, due to space restrictions. 

2.  Each LFS gets a small 1/4 page ad, one per newsletter, on a rotating 
basis. 

3.  If they need extra incentive, we could put something on the cover like 
"This issue sponsored by The Fish Store," with name, address, phone number, 
whatever.
