Re: will not be at next board meeting

I just want everyone to know that I did fully understand this "3
strikes yer out" rule. Knowing my impending status I did intend to go
to Kevin's house for the meeting.
My participation has been low this year as my Mother in Law has been
very ill for the past 6 months, and just died last month.  I felt that
on that day (and others) I had to skip the meeting after intending to
go, as on that night I needed to be with my wife, who is going thru a
pretty hard time right now.
I also don't know if I will be able to ramp up my participation for the
remainder of the year.  SO, I do understand the intent of the policy,
especially since we have many new members who have time and desire to
devote to the board and to building the club.   

That said, as a now nonvoting member, I do agree with Erik in his
response to this rule.  After all this is a fun club, not a government.
