RE: Board Meeting - Pizza

I think that if we meet at a member's home, we could certainly have the Club
pick up the tab for pizza. How does everyone else feel about that? I
really don't think it is that much out of the Club's budget, especially for
as often as we meet outside a Board Member's house. I think 2 or 3 times a
year is not a big deal personally.

Hi Rick,

The whole food-host-thing has basically just evolved to where the folks
who hosted the evening seem to not ask for money anymore. Back when we
were all po' and I was hosting board meetings in my crappy 1-bedroom
apartment, I had no qualms asking everyone to kick in a few bucks. Now,
since getting married, I have been convinced by my better half that we can
pay for the pizza ourselves.

This is a very good point that we shouldn't be expecting people to do
this, and should remember to "pass the hat".
