I thought they were just being posted for approval or disapproval, i.e., did they accurately represent what actually took place at the board meeting. As I was not there this month, I don't have anything to say about the accuracy of them. I am still in disagreement with several policies that were adopted this year, including the one of throwing folks off the board when they've missed 3 meetings (including the somewhat off-putting little counter of how many "strikes" that now shows up in each set of minutes), the recent "pizza" budget decision, and even the root policy of making all decisions only at the board meetings themselves and seemingly without vote. I have voiced this dissent in person and on this list, in some cases multiple times. The fact that I've voiced my opinion doesn't seem to have influenced any decisions anyway unless I'm saying it very loud and at the board meeting. As I seem to be on a different page than you, it's probably better for my sanity to back off some more & let you guys run the club the way you're going to run it. - Erik -- Erik Olson erik at thekrib dot com ------------------ To unsubscribe from this list, e-mail majordomo@thekrib.com with "unsubscribe gsas-board" in the body of the message.
