I have a request and
I hope its not too crazy. As you know from earlier emails today, I had
already started drafting the text for this month's promotional email
announcement which also would have gone in/onto a letter or postcard until we
were pleasantly surprised by the newsletter in our mail boxes. Well, even
though the newsletter arrived, I still needed to finish the text for the email
announcement and I decided to continue playing with the letter format for
"future" uses. We were at the Aquarium today and I got some great
pictures, so I even inserted one of them into the letter. There are also a
couple VERY IMPORTANT details about where we are meeting and not arriving late
that I didn't have when I sent the info to Erika. (I just got them from
Becky Quimby when I talked to her today.)
So, how would the
board feel about my going ahead and sending the letter out tomorrow to further
promote this month's meeting?
I'd even be willing
to pay for the postage if you feel that the double-hit would be too
much.

Members and Friends of the Greater Seattle Aquarium
Society are in for a real treat this month as we hold our regular meeting
downstairs in the actual Seattle Aquarium and tour their Facility. That?s
right! Come be our guest as we receive a special ?Behind-the-Scenes? Tour
hi-lighting the water treatment system, food preparation kitchen, laboratories,
and breeding and grow-out tanks. The tour will finish just in time for us
to watch the mammal feeding which is always very interesting. Then, we
have until 10:00pm to self-tour the exhibits (bring a camera and get some great
shots!).

7:00 ? 7:30pm Arrive early and gather
DOWNSTAIRS by the main entrance
7:30 - 7:45pm* Welcome, Announcements, Quick business 7:45 - 8:30pm Behind-the-Scenes Tour 8:30 ~ 9:00pm Watch the feeding of the mammals 9:00 ? 10:00pm Self-Tour the exhibits * Very Important Note ? Please plan to arrive
EARLY, but no later than 7:45pm. Once we begin the tour (at 7:45 sharp)
there will no longer be anyone at the entrance to let you in.
Also, if you or your children have not yet
submitted your entries for last month?s coloring contest, please bring them to
the meeting.
