RE: Oct. general meeting

I don't know anything about the bayview room, so I'll defer to whatever the
rest of the board decides.  If we're going to stick with the alternate date
(Oct 21st) then we need to start announcing it in every way possible.  Since
I assumed that we'd be reverting to the regular date, I didn't say anything
about it at the meeting last night.

I read Dave's opinion about the bayview room.  Clay and Erik, what do you
think?

If you guys decide to stay with the alternate date...

1)  I'll put out some emails
2)  website?
3)  Newsletter? - I think to avoid some people showing up at the aquarium on
the 14th, we either need to mail a postcard at the "normal" newsletter
mailing time, and then mail the newsletter 10 days before the alternate
meeting date, or else, mail the newsletter at the "normal" time, knowing
that it will arrive 17 days before the actual meeting. - June?

I talked to Kelly Barth at the aquarium today about changing the date of 
the Oct. general meeting from the 21st to the 14th (second tuesday). They 
have something else booked for the 14th so we have a choice of sticking 
with the 21st or changing to the 14th but holding it in the bayview room.I 
left it as it is now - the 21st. If it's decided that we change to the 14th 
Kelly needs to know right away. I'll be out of town tomorrow thru Sun. 
afternoon so someone else may have to call. Her number is 206-386-4314.
