Hi Rick Would the kids be willing to take another little gray frog in need of a better home? I originally got him for a nephew but turned out to be unsuitable so I got him Newts instead and have the frog "left over." Since he is thin, I put him under closer observation. I wanted to be sure he was actually eating the blood worms. Too my surprise, I discovered that he and the Bristlenose Pleco were having worm fights in which they would rush each other over the worms. The frog would rush back but eventually the Pleco would run him off. The Pleco has been getting more aggressive and seems to now have it in for the frog. Today I observed the Pleco jumping on him and "rasping" his top and wouldn't let him go even when worms were not present. I put froggie in another tank for now but he deserves a better home and would probably do better in environment that offers live food which is seldom here. I would bring him Tuesday if you will take him. June ------------------ To unsubscribe from this list, e-mail majordomo@thekrib.com with "unsubscribe gsas-board" in the body of the message.
