On this contract they are asking for the following, among other things:-Insurance; Comprehensive commercial general liability not less than $3,000,000 per occurrence for bodily injury and $1,000,000 per occurrence for property damage. I talked to the State Farm agent I've been dealing with about this yesterday and he hes assured me that the premium he quoted for $1 mil will go up very little if at all. Don't know if the other ins. co. that I talked to or if Rick's agent's quote would be similar but I suspect they would be. -Proof of non-profit status. This one could be a real bugger if the documents that Rick has aren't enough to satisfy them. Rick, could you bring a copy of those documents with you on Tuesday?
-$150 deposit (non-refundable), covers first two months. This looks to me like a sort of generic contract that they use on everyone who rents their facilities, and I'm probably reading more grief into it than is really there. Just overly cautious, I guess. I have a very good working relationship with Judy Bruce, the conference services manager, and I think we can work out any minor glitches that show up. They seem very flexible and accommodating at SPU.
