If a letter is what is needed, then this is a good chance to use our new
letterhead.  Can we mail these out after the auction, or do we have to give
them to the sponsor at the time we pick up the donation?

In the past the donation forms were in the form of a thank you letter, as 
in "Thank you for your donation of the 24" plecostomus to the GSAS auction 
on April 13, 2004" and then sign it. I may have given you some copies of 
the one we used to use along with all the other treasury stuff. If not, you 
could make one up.
