Yes, you are correct, we have given Rich and Diane a gift certificate for their 
help in the past.  I am not sure how the Board wishes to address this now 
however.  Seeing that there are so many volunteers that do so much for the club 
now, I am not sure it would be worthwhile or even necessary to single out those 
that do volunteer unless the effort is exceptionally noteworthy.  The sending 
of letters to the various Suppliers can be automated, and I assume it is, such 
that it does not take near the time it once did.  I am not trying to deny 
anyone's effort, simply pointing out that there are many who do so much for the 
club now.

It looks like you and I are working on the same project this morning.  If it's 
not too late, I've already emailed Diane to ask for the list of donors, their 
addresses, and what they donated.

I don't remember ever giving Diane and Rich a restaurant certificate before. It 
must have been before I was on the board.

I'll compare your list to mine and publish any questions that come up.

I found Diane's donor list in one of the boxes I brought home. This list 
contains names only, in inch - high letters, designed to be put up on a 
wall. We'll have to try to remember to do that next time (I have added it 
to my auction notes). There are 21 names, no addresses. Diane might have a 
complete list with addresses. I will email her and ask.
Note: Seems to me that in past years we sent Diane and Rich a restaurant 
gift certificate in appreciation of their efforts. Might be a good idea to 
do that this year. Anyone remember which restaurant, or for how much? I went 
back through the emails ferreting out donors and have come up with 
the following list, which to the best of my knowledge is complete. Feel 
free to add any I left out.
