Hi Erik,
I don't understand why the rest of the board has been silent on this issue.
Perhaps, since this is the first time that we've had a new President
complete his first term in office for quite some time, the policy that you
briefly explained to the previous board two years ago is unfamiliar. Could
you please provide some background/information on GSAS Lifetime Memberships?
I'd like to "hit the purge button" as was approved by Susan and Bob two
weeks ago, but I can't because the first name on the list to be purged is
Bob's.
Thanks,
Rick

Subject: [GSAS-board] Bob's Membership
Good Morning,
I'm getting ready to print the picnic mailing which starts with updating my
member database from the GSAS Membership database. I noticed that Bob's
membership has not yet been upgraded to lifetime. Would it be okay for
Susan to change Bob's status or does it require an "official" board vote?
Thanks,
Rick

I thought of another item that I forgot to put on the agenda for Thursday's
board meeting. Since it was the last board meeting of the year, Bob has now
completed his first year as President. That means he is now eligible for
LIFE-time membership. Bob has dealt with a lot of BIG ISSUES this year and
he's done an incredible job.
Thanks Bob!
