[GSAS-board] RE: GSAS Membership Reminder

Hi Mary,

Since we lost our newsletter editor last February, the monthly mailing has been in the form of a pamphlet (rather then the typical, booklet-style newsletter that June Olberding used to send out.) Here’s a list of the pamphlets that have been sent since then.

March 2004 – featuring Yohan Fernando speaking on Wild Bettas

April 2004 – highlighting the 2004 General Auction

May 2004 – featuring Tom Waltzek speaking on Loaches

June 2004 – featuring Erik and Kathy Olson’s collection trip up the Amazon in Brazil

August 2004 – promoting the 2004 Summer Picnic

(We thought that we had filled the Newsletter Editor position, but unfortunately that has not worked out so nothing was mailed in September or October.)

November 2004 – featuring Michael Goumas speaking on Breeding, Selling, and Trading Fish to Local Stores

I checked the database and these pamphlets were mailed to you and Mike at the following address.

I have not received any of them back by return mail so I assumed they were reaching you. Is this still your current address? If not, please let me know and I’ll correct our database. Also, if you’d like, I could print a new copy of any/all of the pamphlets and send them to your new address. You might especially be interested in the June pamphlet as it contains information and driving directions to our new meeting place on the campus of Seattle Pacific University.

Thanks also for your membership renewal. So far, we’ve received all positive comments from those that received the email reminders – I hope it was equally helpful to you.
