Hi Rick,
You have the correct address.  Not sure why we did not get the November pamphlet (got the others).  I found the map for the new location on the website and hopefully see you at the next meeting.

Hi Mary,

Since we lost our newsletter editor last February, the monthly mailing has been in the form of a pamphlet (rather then the typical, booklet-style newsletter that June Olberding used to send out.)  Here’s a list of the pamphlets that have been sent since then.

March 2004 – featuring Yohan Fernando speaking on Wild Bettas

April 2004 – highlighting the 2004 General Auction

May 2004 – featuring Tom Waltzek speaking on Loaches

June 2004 – featuring Erik and Kathy Olson’s collection trip up the Amazon in Brazil

August 2004 – promoting the 2004 Summer Picnic

(We thought that we had filled the Newsletter Editor position, but unfortunately that has not worked out so nothing was mailed in September or October.)

November 2004 – featuring Michael Goumas speaking on Breeding, Selling, and Trading Fish to Local Stores

I checked the database and these pamphlets were mailed to you and Mike at the following address.

Mike Hayes

10921 36th Avenue NE

Seattle WA 98125

I have not received any of them back by return mail so I assumed they were reaching you.  Is this still your current address?  If not, please let me know and I’ll correct our database.  Also, if you’d like, I could print a new copy of any/all of the pamphlets and send them to your new address.  You might especially be interested in the June pamphlet as it contains information and driving directions to our new meeting place on the campus of SeattlePacificUniversity.

Thanks also for your membership renewal.  So far, we’ve received all positive comments from those that received the email reminders – I hope it was equally helpful to you.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

Hi Rick,

I just posted our membership dues today.  We have not received any newsletters in a long time, even though our membership just expired.  Are we still on the mailing list?

Hi Mike,

The GSAS Board of Directors has asked me to provide our members with a friendly reminder when it is time to renew their membership.  We hope that you find this service to be a helpful and useful tool in making sure that your membership in GSAS remains current.  If you’ve recently renewed, please disregard this reminder with our thanks.

Our goal is to ensure that you find your membership to be a very valuable and interesting aspect of your home aquarium hobby; and we are working hard to that end.  Your continued interest and support of GSAS is much appreciated.

Your Family membership recently expired on 10/21/2004.

There are two ways to renew.  You can simply pay your dues to Susan Welenofsky, our Membership Coordinator, at the next monthly meeting; or, if you would prefer, you can send your check (payable to GSAS) in the mail.

Susan’s mailing address is…

Susan Welenofsky, GSAS Membership

2973 142nd Place SE #6

Bellevue, WA 98007

IMPORTANT:  Please help us keep our address and other information up-to-date.  If you have moved, changed phone numbers, or gotten a new email address recently (and who hasn’t?) please include that information.  There are forms available at the meeting, or you can print out a membership form from our website:  just go to www.gsas.org and click on the link to the membership form.

Thank you, again, for all you do to make GSAS such a successful and rewarding experience for us all!
