Erik,
I was thinking in terms of thanking all those that sold their items
since without them, the auction would still be pretty limited I believe.
You are absolutely correct about thanking the members that "flat-out
DONATED" their items, we should thank them at a minimum. We don't need
to send a formal thank you....I was just thinking of saying thank you in
the Members forum would be enough......

We haven't normally done that, the thinking being that it's kind of a
member perk to be able to sell stuff at the auction and get 60% of the
profit.
On the other hand, those who flat-out DONATED items as individuals
deserve
a thanks right along with the businesses. (Thought I might be confusing
that with the AGA's auction. Brain capacity still quite down these
days.)
