[GSAS-board] Picnic

I don't feel very warm and fuzzy with the Phantom Lake site either, even though it sounds like a nice place. Most of Seattle's bigger city parks have shelters, tables and a cooking area plus ample parking. Some of the neighboring communities like Mercer Island and Bellevue have nice parks also. Reservations are probably necessary at most of these parks. There's also state parks like Saltwater S.P. and Lake Sammamish. Clay, there's a place up near you that is supposed to have a bunch of koi ponds and gardens. It's privately owned. I can't think of the name of it. Supposed to be a nice place for picnics. Ever heard of anything like this? As far as individual park facicities go, I'm familiar with Lincoln Park in West Seattle and that's about it, so ideas and suggestions would be most welcome. We have chosen August 13 or 20 as the picnic date. Sounds a long ways off, but time flies so we need to act on this right away, especially if reservations are required.
